‘We’, are not makers of history. We are made by history, and if we don’t know history, then we are like a leaf that does not know it is part of a tree. Nevertheless, if history were taught in the form of stories, it would never be forgotten.

Thank you for sending me your anecdotal coffee table book, “Rajputana Chronicles: Guns and Glories” – The thousand-year story of the Bachhawat clan. I look forward to the pleasure of reading it at length during quiet interludes, and being enlightened about this significant part of our history.
