Pratap Singh Mehta is an Author, Behavioural Coach, Maritime Faculty and Master Mariner. Besides books on maritime training, he has also authored “Rajputana Chronicles: Guns & Glories – The thousand-year story of the Bachhawat clan“. He is not a historian, but a history enthusiast.

Prata1990 Navy.bmpp is a seasoned professional with Armed forces background & over 40 years of diverse is a certified Master Trainer for Training of Trainers and Assessors, mind mapping and a practitioner of Silva Mind Programming. He teaches spirituality to adults and youth in a scientific approach. He uses some of these techniques in his Outbound Experiential Learning (OEL) programs.

Pratap is both a mariner & an aviator, brings with him a rich experience of over09112012031-001 25 years in the Indian Navy – which involved command of ship and air squadron. He holds a Master’s Degree in Defence Studies and a graduate of Defence Services Staff Collage, where he studied strategic leadership. He is also a major in Human Resource Management from NMIMS, Mumbai. He is a keen traveller, yachtsman, amateur photographer and yoga enthusiast.

In the past Pratap has modelled for quite a few TV commercials. He was also a radio commentator for Yachting events during 1982 Asia Games in India.

In this journey from Indian Navy to Merchant Shipping to being a Trainer-Mentor and Author, I have grown as a person – from an immature youngster in the late 60’s to a mature adult, from a Sailor to a Leader and most importantly from just motivating people to inspiring them. Now, my objective is to simplify the complex knowledge from the books and share it.
